Tidbits that Enrich my Life
A Passion for Self-Improvement
I grew up watching my parents read Wayne Dyer, Catherine Ponder, and dozens more positive thinking experts.
Early on, I became fascinated with the way thoughts and feelings impact our lives. This is the topic my bookshelves are stacked with. I’ve become a life-long learner, liver and teacher of self-improvement.
The Daughter of Small Business Owners
When my parents weren’t reading self-help books, they were extremely busy running a business.
Concepts like customer service, direct mail ads, and profit-loss statement were part of my vocabulary by the time I was 9.
Working for Mom and Dad taught me how to get along well with different types of people. And helping manage the business fostered a huge appreciation for what it takes to run a successful company.
Strength at Home
My husband and I have 5 children. Plus 3 dogs, 2 kitties, a few goats and chickens too…Lively to say the least.
We’re surrounded by working orchards and vineyards, including our own. So there’s harvest and countryside serenity.
And we often head to the Sierras— hiking, skiing, paddle boarding.
Home is where I draw inspiration from. And where I replenish.
